Free Fun for the Whole Family Features Inspirational Billboard-Sized Art

FORT WORTH, TX, January 21, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ — Beyond watching some of our country’s most talented spray-can artists create billboard-sized murals, visitors to the Third Annual Graffiti Arts Fest can shop for crafts, eat food from Fort Worth’s yummiest food trucks, bring Fido to the public dog park in the new Fort Worth Design District and tour business spaces for lease at Fort Worth’s newest shipping container business park, Box Office Warehouse Suites (BOWS).

The Graffiti Arts Festival will be Saturday, March 14, 2020, from 11 am to 3 pm at 1953 Golden Heights Road. Several national graffiti artists will be competing for cash prizes. Sponsors will be raffling off prizes, including a one-hour Lamborghini driving experience donated by Fort Worth Car Storage. Vendors interesting in renting space at the festivals can find details on the Fort Worth Design District‘s website.

The event has grown steadily since its inception three years ago. “We’re anticipating that this year’s festival will draw more than 12,000 people to the Fort Worth Design District,” said Jennifer Knittel, the administrator for the district.

BOWS is a North Fort Worth/Alliance Area business park constructed of more than 100 recycled shipping containers. “Shipping container construction is on trend today because it allows for greater flexibility and lower costs for tenants seeking Fort Worth commercial property for rent,” said Jim Eaton, VP of RDS Real Estate, the developer of the project and a sponsor of the upcoming festival.

“We will have business spaces for lease available for walk throughs all during the festival. BOWS is located at the center of the new Fort Worth Design District, a 47-acre development seeking entrepreneurs and creative-maker type tenants for retail space, office warehouse space and office spaces. The design district also features a public dog park as well as coworking/micro office space at Paddock Place.

Festival attendees can also do the Snap and Share Art Walk, a series of interactive murals that are ideal for snapping selfies or other photos to share. Couples on the art walk will want to visit the Love Locks mural where adding a lock to the display is part of the fun.

Admission to the event is free, and dogs with their humans are welcome to watch the renowned graffiti artists work.
