Mulhern will reunite with longtime friend and collaborator Cindy Margolis to reinvent their Unsigned Heroes format

LOS ANGELES, CA, September 23, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ — The DDS Jam record label is looking for original songs and songwriters add to their own stable of young stars and talented musicians.

The search, the record label and the publishing company have all been inspired by deceased legendary multi-talented Bucks County music artist Danny Degennaro. DDF Jam executive Ed Mero and his team have also been hard at work establishing distribution channels for the music and will be releasing tunes via CD Baby with downloads and streaming available on Spotify, iTunes and Amazon music later this year. The unification of DDF JAM music contacts along with Cindy Margolis’ seemingly endless list of entertainnent PR and media contacts should create a perfect storm of national promotion and media that will benefit any and all artists signed to the DDF JAM record label.

New JAM President John Austin Mulhern says that in addition to 2020 Scholarship winner Sarah Rue Laskey and previous winners Katelyn Cryan and Kenny KB Brown both DDF and JAM will be looking for fresh new original talent, as well. To this end Mulhern has enlisted the help of old friend Cindy Margolis. Margolis was crowned as The Most Downloaded Woman on the Internet in history by the Guinness Book of Records in 2000 and during the middle to late 90’s she launched a radio style show on her website and along with Mulhern and longtime manager Neil Cirucci started Unsigned Heroes.

Unsigned Heroes featured 50 of the nation’s best original bands and solid performers in hopes of getting some of them a recording contract and/or publishing deal. Among the handful of musical artists who benefitted from Unsigned Heroes format was Howie Day. Day’s songs were streamed on Cindy’s web site and was eventually signed by Sony Music. In addition to signing new Talent DDF Jam will assist with artist development and make sure that the artist intellectual property rights are protected via the Artist Rights Society. This will ensure that any royalties that are due the talent will be paid through BMI and ASCAP.

The promotion and media provided by Cindy Margolis will help expand the scope and the reach of the music nationally so the artist songs can be considered for films and TV.

Other benefits of signing with DDF Jam will include access to songwriting workshops, booking and management advice, contract review and negotiations as well as copywriting all their materials.

All of the above will happen under the watchful eye of John Austin Mulhern and the watchful eye of DDF JAM executive Ed Mero. All in all this relationship between Cindy Margolis, DDF JAM record label and music publishing LLC with John Austin Mulhern at the helm will prove to be a blessing for unsigned artists everywhere and will serve to sustain the memory of a truly talented musical genius, Danny DeGennaro.
