Harper Rollins, LLC will offer educational events, advisory boards and retreats providing hemophilia patients with extensive resources.
RALEIGH, NC, February 01, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ — Harper Rollins LLC, a new North Carolina-based company, will provide strategic marketing and communication services to pharmaceutical companies that manufacture anti-hemophilia drugs, creating a bridge to the hemophilia-bleeding disorder community through informative educational topics and exhilarating field trips. Topics will focus on current life challenges that members living with hemophilia may encounter, such as: securing health and life insurance, choosing a career path, sports participation, dealing with difficulties attending school, relationship dynamics, financial health, aging with hemophilia, and more.
Hemophilia affects an estimated 20,000 people in the U.S. and is one of the top 10 costliest medical conditions to treat. Medication and treatment for hemophilia often places a huge financial burden on individuals and their families. Harper Rollins’ founders, Jeff Harper and Jake Rollins, are both members of the hemophilia community themselves. Thanks to decades spent working in pharma and specialty pharmacy they are uniquely equipped to identify emerging issues as well as underserved areas of the community.
“At Harper Rollins, we know we can make a positive impact, especially with young members that may benefit from our life and work experience. We strive for positive outcomes through education and camaraderie coupled with fun and exciting events,” says co-founder Jeff Harper.
Harper Rollins’ aim is to create a productive synergy between the hemophilia-bleeding disorder community and pharma through their consumer-focused retreats, advisory boards and other education-based programs, which are designed for maximized participation.
“We are committed to delivering superior, professionally prepared content and resources for all of our programs that will inform, inspire and initiate positive growth,” says co-founder Jake Rollins.
One of the company’s initiatives is The Factor Zone, an online resource that provides news and updates on hemophilia health, new drug therapies, research, and announces nationwide events.
