Pastor Jacquelyn M. Ragin Launches Her New Book “Stepping In: The Art Of Leading A Church Through Transition”
EUCLID, OH, March 04, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ — On January 24, 2022, Pastor Jacquelyn M. Ragin D.Min released her first book “Stepping In: The Art Of Leading A Church Through Transition” through Amazon and the book immediately became a Best Seller!
It is not always easy to recognize your role when your calling is to serve others during times of transitions, especially when those ‘others’ are entire churches going through change.
Transitional ministry was not how Pastor Jacqui envisioned herself serving her church. It wasn’t even the church she thought she’d serve.
After an intervention by the FBI, though, she found herself leading a church in crisis in a different denomination from what she’d always known. Even more surprising, she discovered God had already gifted her with all the skills and experience she needed to do the job well.
This is the story of how one woman discovered her calling for transitional ministry revealing, in the process, many of the factors to be considered if transitional ministry feels like a calling for you.
“Churches need ministers willing to serve as the interim pastor during their transition, whether the church is closing, merging with another congregation or searching for a new pastor,” shares Pastor Jacquelyn M. Ragin D.Min.
Five star review on Amazon, reader Wanda calls the book “A must read for ministry leaders!” and goes on to say “Excellent! Powerful and easy read. Pastor Jacqueline Ragin gives language to a place many in ministry and in the marketplace find themselves at the present time. Once I started reading, I couldn’t put the book down as each chapter spoke to me. I knew I was in transition in my life; now I am beginning to understand that transitional ministry may be what ministry looks like for me at the present time. God has a plan and purpose for my life, and while He is moving me along He is also allowing me to be impactful to others, even if my time in a location is brief. This book is extremely relevant in the times we are in as a nation.”
