LITTLE ROCK, AR, January 19, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ — Harbor today announced that President/CEO Trena Adair has decided to step down from this leadership position to allow time to pursue other ventures. Leslie Davis has been appointed new President/CEO effective January 10th, with Trena Adair supporting the transition process during the first half of the year. Trena Adair will continue to serve as Senior Consultant for Harbor in a limited capacity during 2022.

Trena Adair said: “I congratulate Leslie on her appointment and look forward to working with her during this transition. Having worked with Leslie for over 20 years and being close friends even longer, I am highly confident that under her leadership, Harbor will continue to prosper and grow long into the future. This appointment demonstrates the strength of Harbor’s succession planning and gives us the opportunity to continue to develop Harbor’s leadership pipeline.”

“It has truly been an honor to lead Harbor for the last 14 years. During this time, I have been humbled by the commitment and hard work of our team, and their passion for creating a truly incredible company. I am grateful to them, our leadership team, and those clients we have worked with to build our long-term, sustainable business. I look forward to engaging with our new leadership – in a different capacity”.

Davis has led Harbor as Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer for 13 years. Davis serves on several regulatory committees and local Association Boards providing valuable insight to both regulators and the regulated community. Her experience consulting for all types of industries and governmental clients is invaluable, as Harbor’s clients transition from complying with EHS regulations, to demonstrating their businesses’ impact on our natural and human environment through sustainability reporting.

“While we are sad to see Trena step down, we are excited for the new opportunities it brings to Harbor,” says Davis. “Trena has prepared Harbor for this day and we can’t wait to build upon the great foundation she has laid for us. The nature of EHS consulting and engineering is changing, and as a company, we are shifting our focus to supporting our client’s efforts to minimize their impacts on our communities. I am looking forward to seeing what the next 13 years have in store for us and our team.”

“Since the inception of Harbor, it has always been the goal to grow not only the company, but, also present opportunities for others to advance. With this change, Andrew Rike has increased his interest in the company and a new principal, Tresa Adair, who has been a part of the leadership team for years, now officially holds ownership shares with Harbor.
