Render Squad Industries LLC, has announced that the release of its documentary series “Black Business LA” has been postponed until September 2022.
LOS ANGELES, CA, March 01, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ — Despite this announcement being bittersweet, there is good news in this delay. Black Business LA will premiere on Amazon Prime Video, with a new episode airing every Monday until the end of the season.
“Ultimately, the aim of a documentary series is to honor participants and viewers alike, and to achieve this, we must ensure that the project reflects everything participants have shared with us besides a mere narrative,” said Melvin Graham, Executive Producer and Director of Black Business LA. “We must capture the vulnerability and honesty of our subjects. In order to capture all of that and use it to educate, inform, and raise the awareness and curiosity of our audience, we need more time, so a premiere delay will be necessary.”
Black Business LA, the first documentary series of its kind, is an important and relevant series that examines Black American business success in Los Angeles despite a growing economic crisis and population decline. This documentary series aims to focus on the economic and financial literacy issues facing Black Americans.
The documentary series will feature thirty-eight (38) Black-owned businesses in Los Angeles, California. The pilot episode will feature the following businesses:
• Black Beverly Hills
• The Fly King Media
• Blackout Barbershop Lounge
• Trap Kitchen
• Be Levated Now
• Los Angeles County with an exclusive interview with Judge Rupert A. Byrdsong
Filming for Black Business LA takes place in multiple locations across Los Angeles County. Featuring stunning visuals, each episode explores Black business from various perspectives.
