‘All The Cool Kids’ ‘ATCK’ Friday After 5′

OWENSBORO, KY, July 23, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ — As the news continues to tease possibilities of collaboration and tours between some of our hottest boy bands, Friday After 5 is happy to announce that the last concert of their 25th Anniversary season will be more than just a tease! It will be a reality.

The world-renowned Grammy Award winning Boy Band artists, A.J. McClean of the Backstreet Boys, Jeff Timmons of 98 Degrees, Chris Kirkpatrick of *NSYNC and their friend Chris Blue, season 12 winner of The Voice, will “ATCK” (All the Cool Kids), the Ruoff Party Stage in Owensboro, KY on Friday, Sept 3rd, 2021 to say Bye-Bye-Bye to a successful 25th Anniversary season.

“After years of hoping to get the opportunity to perform at Friday After 5, the moment has finally arrived,” states Jeff Timmons, founding member of 98 Degrees. “To have the honor of performing at such a legendary event, while sharing the stage with legends like A.J. McClean from the Backstreet Boys, and Chris Kirkpatrick of *NSYNC, it’s like a dream come true!”

In true Friday After 5 fashion the actual concert is free to all who come out, thanks to the wonderful sponsors large and small who make the festival happen each year. The special non-profit street fair evening, and 5 additional stages of entertainment will continue to offer something for everyone on closing night, beginning at 5pm.

But having this caliber of talent join together in Owensboro at Friday After 5 for the first time in its history, fans can anticipate something even a little more unique this year. A special Fan Club Meet and Greet opportunity has been created for a nominal fee for your chance to spend a moment one-on-one with ATCK and have your picture taken at the Red-Carpet wall together.

“In the beginning, we weren’t sure Friday After 5 would be able to celebrate our 25th Anniversary after the pandemic took hold,” remarked Chad Day, Friday After 5 President. “But we have had a remarkable season and are so honored to have the artists of ‘ATCK’ join us. It’s more than we could have ever imagined.”

Friday After 5, a 501c3, began in 1997 with four concerts and grew into a 16-week signature riverfront festival for the entire tri-state area hosting more than 70,000 visitors each season. Featuring seven venues of entertainment, food trucks and a kid-friendly Street Fair, Friday After 5 has become THE place to be every Friday during the summer and all events are free!

Our mission is to promote community, goodwill and economic development by creating and producing weekly family-friendly, free entertainment events during the summer along the Owensboro riverfront and downtown.
