ATLANTA, GA, November 23, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ — Nancy Flaherty, author, fashion journalist and style historian, has been appointed as the new Fashion Group International (FGI) Regional Director of Atlanta. This new appointment is effective beginning today, Monday, November 22, 2021. The global nonprofit organization promotes educational programs devoted to fashion and the study of fashion related businesses through the creation and awarding of scholarships; the establishment of internship programs; and the provision of career counseling services. Flaherty has been a board member of FGI since May 2018, most recently serving as Atlanta Regional Director Elect.

Nancy has been fixated on fashion and style her entire life and, as the U.S. editor of Captendance Magazine, was able to combine her journalistic quest for knowledge with her passion for the world of fashion couture. She is the Founder and CEO of Hidden Gems with Grace, an omnimedia outlet which explores cities and neighborhoods offering that hint of French Flair for other fashion enthusiasts, including entertainment via her podcast Cafe with Grace, a HGWG YouTube channel, her weekly IGTV #5FridayFavs, and the online magazine Grace in Paris where she shares her favorite places for finding that special item in the City of Light. In addition, she offers various in-person fashion and shopping experiences for any style minded historian.
