Debuts “Operation Juggernaut” video, urging content creators to switch off comments as a first step

NEW YORK, NY, January 01, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ — Abraham I Am, an advocate for social change, has published a new video, Operation Juggernaut Treatment, which argues for the dismantling of social media as a way to stop its negative influence on humanity. The video, which lays out the first in a series of steps to counteract social media, recommends that content creators switch off comments on their material as a first step in disrupting the destructive impact of social media.

“Social media is a massive problem in society,” explained Abraham I Am. “We must deconstruct this juggernaut. This may seem like a naïve or hopeless mission, but it’s something we need to try. If we simply sit back and complain, without taking action, we will be complicit in the damage we are doing to ourselves and others.”

As Abraham I Am sees it, the social media realm, while holding influence that no other communication force has ever possessed in the history of the world, is utterly lacking in governance, shared etiquette or ethics. “It’s the wild west,” he added. “While social media can accomplish a lot that is good, it is also a ruinous force. It destroys reputations and lives. It foments evil, anti-social activity and violence—even murder—and no one is in control. In fact, the more negative it gets, the more money its owners make. That is a recipe for societal and humanitarian catastrophe. It needs to end.”

The first step is for content creators to temporarily shut off comments on their material, such as videos they post on YouTube. By pausing comments, content creators can focus on creating content instead of engaging in negative and counterproductive dialogues with people they don’t know, and shouldn’t necessarily respect. “I’m looking for volunteers,” Abraham I Am shared. “We need volunteers who can take action against the distracting crutch of social media comments.” Indeed, according to Abraham I Am, content creators should make content for its own sake, not for the sake of comments.

After a period of pausing comments, Abraham I Am recommends that content creators consider opening up limited dialogues with their top subscribers. This way, the creator is on control of the dialogue. “If we can do these small things, we can make a difference in the world. It will be a victory for mankind. We can be the change we want to see in society.”
