Gyeonggi Contents Agency (Director Song Gyeong-hee) held the CES 2021 Online Video Conference for four days from January 11 (Mon) to 14 (Thu) at the International Conference Hall of the Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation to increase overseas marketing and global capabilities of Gyeonggi-based convergence startups.

CES 2021, the world’s largest IT and home electronics exhibition, is held all digital for the first time due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Gyeonggi Contents Agency supports 12 convergence startups in the province to participate in the online CES 2021 event.

The 12 participating startups are -GoodByeCar (Yangju, CEO Nam Jun-hee) – dear.architect (Suwon, CEO Choi Jae-young) -DI Electronics (Anyang, CEO Choi Tae-hong) -GenieRobot (Anyang, CEO Lee Eun-seung) -The2H (Seongnam, CEO Lee Seung-hoon) -Emotionwave (Suwon, CEO Jang Soon-cheol) -Coconut Silo (Seongnam, CEO Kim Seung-yong) -Mand.ro (Bucheon, CEO Lee Sang-ho) -VRotein (Seongnam, CEO Kim Chan-ki) – Cebien (Gwangju, CEO Ryu In-sik) -yellowknife (Seongnam, CEO Lee Han-seong) -Strig (Seongnam, CEO Oh Hwan-gyeong).

Twelve startups supported by the Gyeonggi Content Agency to participate in the exhibition will showcase various products at CES 2021. Dear.architect, which won the 2020 CES Innovation Award last year, presents AR picture books that can be used together with its existing product ROOMY block at CES 2021. GoodByeCar presents BASTRO Power Bank, which won the Intellectual Property Office Award (Bronze) for good design hosted by MOTIE. In addition, 12 products from companies including Geniebot (educational coding robot/GenieRobot), qwerty case (wireless keyboard for the visually impaired/DI Electronics), Tour Putt (AR-based putting training service/VRotein), and C-WATER hands care solution (Cebien) are introduced at CES 2021.

An official from the Agency said, “Since the first participation in 2019, we have been participating in CES, the world’s best electronic product startup exhibition, for three consecutive years. In the future, we are going to support to strengthen the overseas marketing for the promising startups in Gyeonggi.”
