Online International Prayer Meeting to end COVID-19 Gathers Thousands of Shincheonji Members and over 350 guests from 29 different religions in 73 different countries.

GWACHEON, KOREA, November 16, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ — Shincheonji Church of Jesus in South Korea hosted an international and inter-religious virtual prayer meeting to pray for the end of the COVID-19 pandemic and for the development of an effective cure for the virus. The prayer meeting garnered several thousand Shincheonji members in addition to 352 guest participants. The guests came from 29 different religions in 73 different countries.

Some participants represented Buddhism, Islam, Catholicism, Judaism, Scientology, Hinduism and others. The countries represented in the prayer meeting included Greece, South Africa, Switzerland, the United States, Thailand, Pakistan, Australia, and many others.

The prayer meeting comes after the third convalescent plasma donation starting November 16th where 4,000 Shincheonji members are expected to donate. In the past two donation drives, a total of 1,700 Shincheonji members donated. The plasma has so far been used to treat 47 patients in 8 different medical facilities.
