SunglassJack is said to look like Jack Nicholson, Jim Carrey, Bruce Willis, and Christopher Lloyd. He channels those looks and creates an iconic brand of comedy by telling humorous video stories that only last seconds.

LOS ANGELES, CA, December 20, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ — Norman Deesing, known as “SunglassJack” on social media, is a former Southern California High School Art teacher who has gone viral on TikTok and Instagram. Using his unique look, SunglassJack states that, “A lot of people think I look like the actor Jack Nicholson, and sometimes even Jim Carrey, Bruce Willis, and Christopher Lloyd.” He channels those looks and creates an iconic brand of comedy by telling humorous video stories that only last seconds. “A seven to 11 second comedic story designed to attract millions of views and thousands of new followers is challenging to do on a consistent basis. My partner and I work hard filming and editing, adding sound and some effects, always focused on a single goal: to make people laugh”, says SunglassJack. “It’s not easy, but we have fun doing it,” he continues. “I draw on my ‘stage’ experience as a seasoned teacher and as an overall goofy guy to pull together some really cringey stuff.” One of his videos has over 12.7 million views.

SunglassJack’s media views have grown tremendously since starting in March of 2021. ”We started doing this on a whim in March 2021. Some of our videos went viral right away. Our fan base developed quickly. And the audience feedback really helped to energize our daily video output,” says SunglassJack’s partner, Lea Deesing. She continues: “He may have the pretty face, but I am the brains behind the operation.” Lea films, directs, edits, and co-writes the comedy scripts. She uses an iPhone 12 Pro to capture most of the footage. For editing, she primarily uses the SpliceApp editing tool on her iPhone and she occasionally uses Adobe After Effects on her desktop iMac.

Together, this talented team has produced over 260 mini-videos in just eight months and have amassed over 400 thousand followers between Instagram and TikTok. SunglassJack states, “Our energy is laser focused on one goal: make it entertaining! Am I an ‘influencer’? Have we, as a team, become ‘influencers’? Only time will tell,” says SunglassJack. Lea continues: “Sure, validation comes with followers, likes, and comment numbers, but we really just like to make people laugh. We make fun of ourselves creating videos about the human condition and the daily struggles of life. It’s extra funny when the guy struggling looks like a celebrity.” What’s next? The team is expanding their efforts into a TV-like sketch comedy series called “The Bad Legend” to be aired on all social media platforms in 2022. Stay tuned…
